Around Siquijor

A slow island, full of quiet wonders.

Siquijor rewards the unhurried. These are the places we send our own family and friends to. You'll need a motorbike or a guide for most of them — we're happy to help arrange either.

Hidden Beach

Boat from Minalulan · ~20 min

Hidden Beach

A small bay reachable only by boat from our village. White sand, clear turquoise water, and almost always empty. We can help arrange a local boatman.

Cambugahay Falls

~35 min by motorbike

Cambugahay Falls

Three turquoise tiers tucked into the jungle. Bring water shoes. Go early — by noon it gets busier — but even then it's calm.

Old Balete Tree & Fish Spa

~25 min by motorbike

Old Balete Tree & Fish Spa

A 400-year-old balete tree with a small spring at its roots. Dip your feet in and let the tiny fish do their thing. A small donation to the barangay is appreciated.

A few more, if you have time

Lazi Convent

One of the oldest and largest convents in Asia. Quiet, beautiful, worth the short stop.

Salagdoong Beach

Cliff jumping and a long stretch of clear water on the east side of the island.

Maria Church

A peaceful old stone church — lovely on the way to Salagdoong.

The lighthouse from the bay

Visible from our veranda. At sunset, walk the beach toward it.
